Das Kunsthaus Steffisburg stellt an der diesjährigen Cantonale einen Ausschnitt querbeet aus dem aktuellen Kunstschaffen in der Region aus. Die ausgewählten 27 Künstlerinnen und Künstler spannen mit Jahrgang 1943 bis 1999 von ihrem Alter her, mit ihrer geografischen Herkunft von Matten bis Biel und von München bis Grand-Lancy sowie mit ihrem Schaffen auch technisch, formal und inhaltlich einen grossen Raum auf. Die Arbeiten werden in den Räumlichkeiten des Bushauses und der ehemaligen Metzgerei sowie im angrenzenden öffentlichen Raum gezeigt.
